No one said life is easy

No, no one said life is easy, and watching what is happening now in our world, it’s easy to feel distrust. In my case, after many years feeling guilty (as I think many people do), for having been brought up in easier, safer, healthier circumstances than so many others, I realized that feeling guilty, only made me a passive victim, and Yoga has turned me into a more active participant in life than I used to be. The teachings of Yoga talks about accountability. We are responsible for our own health and wellbeing, as well as of the entire world’s health and wellbeing. Because there is no difference between “You” and “Me” , between “Them” and “Us”. We are One. Taking responsibility for our own happiness, is taking responsibility for everyone’s happiness. And seeing what is going on in the world only with mistrust or guilt or anger, is another manifestation of separation between “them” and “us”. We as humans with the same human history, we make war, we are afraid, we want the best for our closest family… So the day we can see that we are all responsible for what is happening in the world (climate change, war, terrorism, Trumps…) maybe a change can come, from a deeper understanding. From a collective healing of our counsiousness. This starts today, with each of us healing the wounds of our own individual history, un-winding the knots in the karmic chain, and taking responsibility for our own hapiness.

Reaching out…
This year I have chosen to support the World Wide Tribe, who works supporting the refugees in Europe. They work in two ways: highlighting the refugee crisis, bringing awareness, and with direct humanitarian projects in e.g. Calais, Turkey and Lesvos. To make my support more significant, I would like to ask for your help to support the Tribe. Clicking on the link, you have the possibility to make a donation that will go DIRECTLY to the World Wide Tribe and their work on the ground. (no commissions or intermediaries).
