It is said that we can acquire a new habit in three weeks. Truly, in 21 days our body-mind has the capacity to get re-habituated and integrate a new routine, and with that we may start to feel a shift in our organism. However, in my experience, it is not always easy to make these shifts on our own.
We have spent more time in solitude this last year than maybe never, and that may have a repercussion in our health and state of mind. To be by oneself can be wonderful, but not always when it is forced and over a long period of time. I acknowledge this in many friends and students. You probably see it or have experienced it as well.
With that in mind, I would like to make March a Community Month!!
In sanscrit there is a beautiful word that is KULA. It means group, community or multitude, and it is often referred to as the cosmic family; the universe and its inherent Shakti force that is present in everyone. We are always united by the energy of Shiva/Shakti (Consciousness and Creative Power).
I encourage you to join our small virtual family, feeling the support and inspiration by the Kula. Contact me to try out a yoga class online! Join by yourself or with friends and family!!
